Q: How do I schedule a session with a session with a counsellor?

A: Both virtual and in-person sessions are scheduled via the Owl Practice website. You'll need to create an account to schedule the first session. Also, you can contact us, and we can help you to set things up. See the below link for details:


Q: What are the services available to me?

A: Our services include individual counselling for youth, young adults and older persons. Also, various assessment services are available.

Q: Is the cost covered by OHIP?

A: OHIP does not cover counselling costs. However, some extended health insurance will cover the cost, or you might need to pay for this service out of pocket.

Q: How long is the duration of each session?

A: This could vary from half an hour to about 50 minutes.

Q: How many sessions are required?

A: Based on the assessment with the counsellor, the number of sessions will be determined.

Q: How do you handle missed sessions?

Twenty-four hours' notice of cancellation is required to afford the charge of the session fee. The session could be rescheduled based on the counsellor's discretion under excruciating circumstances (e.g., in an emergency).
